Firgia is living in Bandung, Indonesia. He's still 22 and passionate about programming. He started learning programming when he was 17 and studied at Pasundan University in 2018. He almost dropped out in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He spent 3 years to learning mobile game development with Unity Engine, and he got his first job in PT Karya Pintar Makmur as a mobile developer.
He deep dive learned about Flutter when He watched the story of Flutter on Youtube, which made him interested in Flutter.
At the time, Flutter was not a popular framework for building mobile apps in his country. So he tried to be a full-time remote worker and work with a startup in different countries as a Flutter developer. He wants to be a professional freelancer and live in other countries while working.
He joined Upwork in 2021. He had to work hard to get the first clients because of stiff competition. He creates blogs, open-source projects on GitHub, and youtube videos to show his skill and get his first clients. Finally, he got his first client on Upwork in 2022 as a Flutter developer to build a Mobile application.
